How to get a custom Discord invite link (vanity URL)

A vanity URL is a permanent, custom invite like discord.gg/yourname. It’s easier to remember, looks professional, and never expires.
How to unlock it
Vanity URLs unlock at boost level 3, which takes 14 server boosts. Levels 1 and 2 need 2 and 7 boosts. Members boost with Discord Nitro or by buying boosts. Discord Partner and Verified servers also get a vanity URL.
How to set it
- Open Server Settings.
- Find Vanity URL in the sidebar (it appears once you’re level 3).
- Type the name you want. Letters, numbers, and dashes only. It must not already be taken.
- Save. The link works straight away.
If you drop below level 3
If boosts expire and the server falls below level 3, the vanity link stops working and the name may become available for someone else. Keep a regular invite as a backup, and thank your boosters so they keep boosting.
Update your links
Once you have a vanity URL, update it on your DiscordBase listing and everywhere else. Check it with the invite checker; it labels vanity links.
